Hey Guys. So here are two ideas i'm working on. I think i'm going to make the scientist much older, just for more appeal and i feel like it would add more of a grounding psychologically to the groups relationship. The mechanic i definitely want to keep as a young girl, influenced by Porco Rosso (Ghibli film) like a female heroine idea. And for the pilot the risk taker will be a guy in his twenties. Thanks for the feedback bout the Ship. I'll be working on that herea nd there too. Good chattin with ya Wed too Jay, maybe next wed too if possible, i'll get tehre earlier and that way we can talk more abou this, heck maybe even get del to put some ideas in our noggins as well.

I like the idea of a female mechanic. The outfit and gear feels a little more like a SWAT or paratrooper fit to me. I think because no tools are visible it loses the mechanic feel. Maybe she could have more of a belt with tools showing like electricians or plumbers have. A tool box strapped on her, or even those pouches that the guys at Home Depot have on. Or props such as towels to wipe hands or an apron. Also, I think a small girl with big tools (ok that sounded wierd) would have good contrast in shapes as well. She could be an even younger gifted mechanic too, like Anakin Skywalker but female. Just some thoughts.
